Hello every 1 im a UK wanna be film maker and to tell you the truth im totallt lost. Iv'e read so much and have had things thrown at me from all different angles I don't have a clue where to start. I have written a few scripts and I was wondering if there was anyone out there that could just take me through the processes of doing a descent piece of work onto film in the simplest way possible.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">One way to begin - Get a cheap disposable camera, and take pictures that share a unified theme to create a narrative.

Simplest way possible of doing a decent piece of work on film.

Once again a question that can't be answered....

Film for you video shooters is not hard to work with. It is actually very simple. Video requires much more attention to detail when it comes to lighting ratios and handling your images.

Tell us about your script and maybe we can help you figure some stuff out.

    Good Luck

beg, borrow or steal any camera and film things.
Try to keep the picture steady and go easy on the zoom.
Then edit it together to some music or a voice-over (maybe a poem or a short story you may or may not have written) and create a narrative structure (a beginning, a middle and an end)

    voila.
